Travel program:

DAY 1-PODGORICA 15.04.2020. Departure in front of the Church of Christ's Resurrection at 19:00. Travel by high tourist class bus, through Shkodra, Durres, Gjirokastra, Kakavia border crossing… Night ride with short breaks for rest.

DAY 2 - KRF Good Friday 16.04. Arrival in the port of Igoumenitsa in the morning. Travel by ferry to the island of Corfu (1h 45min). After arriving on the island, tour of the old town (panoramic walking tour): Old Fortress - the best preserved Byzantine fortress in Greece, Liston - a complex of buildings representing the center of social life, the work of famous architect Lesseps, Enosis - monument to the unification of the Ionian Islands with Greece, magnificent Palace Saints George and Michael - the most beautiful remnant of British rule of the island, the Church of St. Spyridon, the patron saint of the island. Continuation of the trip to the hotel Iliada beach3 * in Guvia, ten minutes drive from the old town. Free time for rest. At the agreed time, departure to the old town. On Good Friday, starting from 14:00, until ten in the evening, liturgies from many city churches start every half hour. Soldiers, sailors, students and numerous priests carry decorated Shrouds on their hands. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 3 - KRF Holy Saturday 17.04. Breakfast. Departure to the city of Corfu for a solemn litany in which the relics of St. Spyridon the Wonderworker, accompanied by a symphony orchestra, tour the city. At 11:00, when the bells announcing the first Resurrection of Christ are rung, a unique ceremony of "throwing jars" takes place. Hundreds of windows decorated with purple fabrics are thrown into jars, the bang of which, when smashed on the sidewalk, causes the enthusiasm of many tourists, who fight for bits of jars, because they are believed to bring good luck. Organized, optional tour of the Serbian House and Mausoleum on the island of Vido. Return to the hotel. Free time for rest. At 21:30 departure to the city of Corfu. Half an hour before midnight, from the Church of St. Petka to the central town square - Spianada, the solemn Easter liturgy starts. Exactly at midnight, when the huge inscription "CHRIST ANESTI" is lit on the Old Fortress, and the purple cross becomes white, a spectacular fireworks display starts, which will leave you breathless with the light of tens of thousands of candles! Going to midnight service and communion. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 4 - CORF - Easter 18.04. Breakfast. Free time in the old town or organized optional excursion Paleokastritsa - Achilleion. Travel to Paleokastritsa, an area on the west coast of the island to which the beginnings of tourism development in Corfu are connected. A tour of the monastery dedicated to the Mother of God, which is located on a hill, with a magical view of the entire area. Free time. Continuation of the journey to Achilleion - the magnificent castle of the Austro-Hungarian Empress Elizabeth. Return to the hotel. Free time. Overnight stay.

DAY 5 - KRF - PODGORICA 19.04.2020. Breakfast. Leaving the hotel. Free time in the city of Corfu for shopping, individual tours. Departure by ferry to Igoumenitsa in the early afternoon. Travel through the border crossing Kakavia, Gjirokastra, Durres, Shkodra… Arrival in Podgorica in the late hours of the night.
